Chalk in Athens. Georgia swept 3-0 with an 18-2 run margin: 5-2 over Charleston, 8-0 over UNC Greensboro, 5-0 shutout of Clemson in the title. Shroyer never got the Sunday rubber we expected. Defending ACC champs Clemson went down 5-0 in the championship game — Addisen Fisher threw a two-hitter and Miller homered and drove in two as Georgia scored in the 4th, 5th and 6th.

The Athens Regional winner advances to face the winner of the Knoxville Regional (#10 vs #7) in the Super Regional round May 21-24, hosted at the higher national seed (Tennessee). Super Regionals are best-of-three; the winner advances to the Women’s College World Series at Devon Park in Oklahoma City, May 28 - June 5.
