UPSET · CALLED ITUPSET in Tallahassee. Florida State lost the opener to Stetson 8-3, while UCF won its first two: 2-1 in eight innings over Jacksonville State and 10-1 over Stetson. FSU fought back through the elimination bracket and beat UCF 2-1 in the championship, but UCF took the 4-2 if-necessary closer. The defending ACC Tournament champs were sent home in their own ballpark.
